I love this place, they have so many options to choose from. The service is truly incredible and I just love how inexpensive the food is for what you get. I definitely recommend and I come here all the time. It's usually busy as soon as they open and the restaurant itself is nice!

Great place for some family size food. Portions are huge and it taste really good. They have some good vegetarian options. It's a good spot

Chef chen is my best buddy. He is always the good at cooking. The music here is like chinese music is very great. I love the food here and I will come everyday.

Been going here for years service is not the best but the food makes up for it. The ambience is nothing to be proud of but it is worth the price and it's worth a visit

The portions are huge. We ordered Mongolian Beef, chicken fried rice, and lo mein noodles. The rice was a bit dry, but the other dishes were good. For price is good for the portions served. I will be back to try other dishes.

Not bad for Chinese Gave this place a go for Christmas dinner 2023 and it did not dissapoint. Cant say too much about Chinese food and being critical makes no sense. Whenni picked up this order, there was alot people eating in the dining room so thats a good sign. I even somehow dropped an order on the floor and the staff was quick to clean it up for me and replace my fallen order. Ordered the.... Fried rice Pan fried noodles Mongolian beef Black bean fish Honey walnut prawns Fried squid All was awesome EXCEPT the fried squid...it was tough and NOT crispy. ...the other dishes were perfect for hypertension and future heart issues. Lol Overall...4 STARS for this food and flavor

It's my first time here, and it took me by surprise. Legit Chinese food, but cater more to Americans taste, still so good! All dishes are good portion for their price. The restaurant is clean. If you are in the area and craving for Chinese food, give this place a try!

I have to review this little spot in montebello. Been coming here for little bit now and they never seem to miss a beat and they stay super consistent. From the orange chicken made with real orange peels and little bit of chili peppers it's absolutely perfect together. From the beef and broccoli always on point, not over cooked nor does it lack flavor. The chow Mein probably another favorite as it always cooked fresh and very tasty. If you are ever in pico or montebello stop at this place cause it will be totally worth it.

I enjoy very much Chinese cuisine from small Chinese restaurants to the big names like Panada Express and P.F. Chang's restaurants. I have to been to many Chinese restaurants in my life some were good and not so good depends how they prepare and cooking it. I decided to try Chef Chen I was very curious I was at Zankou chicken then I notice the restaurant and I check up on my Yelp I was very surprised they have good review. I went there after my shopping first it was lunch time they were no parking I went around the parking lot then finally found one. Then I step and I grab a menu and look at it then I look at the lunch specials they have a good two lunch special I got the broccoli beef comes with soup and egg roll and choice of white rice or fried rice I got the fried rice I decided to take out. I brought home I took a bit of the Broccoli beef amazing good big portions l lots of Broccoli and carrots it was so good especially the beef it was tender and full of flavors with sauce. The soup was really good and also the egg roll and fried rice was great. Next I need to tryout different items. The service was good and and staff was friendly.
